Here are some of the dogs we have available for rehoming at the moment.  Please be aware that we cannot be sure how well any of the dogs will get on with any cats you may have at home.

These dogs are featured here because none of them were wearing ID discs when picked up and when scanned, none were microchipped. Look after your pet and get him microchipped, that way he will be returned to you if he strays. A dog must wear ID tags by law. Ask at reception for disc engraving done while you wait and microchipping by appointment.

We have new dogs arriving at the centre every day and so the most recent arrivals may not feature on this page for a few days. Please contact us if you'd like more up to date information.

Please - think carefully when deciding to rehome a dog.
Dogs are being let down by people who agree to take them, but then change their minds.

Picture of Micky
Micky
Micky is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier boy, thought to be approx. 2 yrs old.
He is a happy, lively, fun little dog who cannot understand why he has been abandoned.
He was picked up roaming the streets all on his own. He was very bewildered, poor little boy.
Micky loves all people he meets and lives to play, play, play. He is looking for a family who will play with him and love him, where his previous owners failed him.
He does not like cats, so needs a home without them.

Bill
This is Bill, he is thought to be less than a year old.
He was found badly beaten, starving and dumped, along with his friend Ben. He is a friendly, happy boy despite his suffering at the hands of humans and desperately wants to play and be loved.
He has only known hurt and brutality in his short life and is now looking for a loving home where he can feel safe and loved.

He is a lovely, gentle boy and sits on command. He has a wonderful nature and is great on the lead. He is very submissive and was very shy when he first came out of the pound but now he likes to play ball, especially with his other doggy pals.
Zeus is currently in Ireland but travel to Mutts in Distress can be arranged for him if he finds a family.
